Employee Purchase Plan Pricing

Can anyone tell me the differences between the Employee Purchase Plan price and the Family and Friends Plan price and how they relate to MSRP and / or INVOICE cost, thanks?

I'm in Canada so I don't know if that makes a difference or not.

Re: Employee Purchase Plan Pricing

Employee pricing is about 3% under invoice, they take out holdback and advertising. Friends of family is 1% under invoice. SRT's have been excluded from these benefits. Invoice is what dealer cost is including hold back money. Hold back money is what is suppose to be for if there is for the cost of any damage and any misc. things that need to be fixed from being transported or lot. It also provides some profit for the dealer. Employee pricing deals are reviewed by Chrysler so anything that is unusual or not suppose to be done you will get a letter telling you that you have been bad and may lose your benefit of Employee pricing. The dealer also receives a letter.

According to website where you get the number, Friends and family is now offered on all SRTs except for Viper and Jeep.

I doubt youll ever see it on the Viper......or for that matter... Jeep again. The Jeep will sellout every year as long as they keep on their current track. This Jeep is HUGELY popular here and overseas.

Have fun,
Matt

When did you buy yours? I wonder if it matters who the employee is you get the pricing from...?

Same site for everyone. Got it in March of 12. Maybe at the end of the build cycle they offered it. I get stuff under surviving spouse as long as my Mom is alive. My Dad was a Manager with Chrysler.

If this is true, L.A. Chrysler Jeep screwed me out of the money I would have saved. This is the first I've heard of employee pricing on the 2012 GC SRT8. Anybody else??

Re: Employee Purchase Plan Pricing

The order sheet for my 2014 SRT shows:
MSRP 68,575
FWP (Invoice) 64,923
HB (Holdback?) 2,027
FFP (Family Friends?) 64,349
EP (Employee Pricing?) 61,752

Note that Friends & Affiliates isn't listed. The Affiliates program specifically states that the Jeep SRT is not qualified for the discount.

Make of it what you will..

Re: Employee Purchase Plan Pricing

EP is right at 10% off the MSRP. Holdback, or "hidden profit" as some call it, is the money made to keep the lights on perse. EP was available when the '12 SRT Jeep was released as well. It changes quite often and sometimes has additional rebates that aren't available to the general public plus the rebates that are on said model at the time.

Re: Employee Purchase Plan Pricing

Invoice is close to 5% off msrp and FFP is around 6%. So guys who bought at 7% below invoice did better than EP. Even with the high doc fees it was still a little better. Doc fees on EP is $75.
