Calling All Off Roaders...
In an effort to grow the Off Road Modification Sub Forum, we are trying to organized and cater the ORM sub forum to all Jeeps and not just the WK crowd that has seemed to corner the market over there.

We want this section to be about Off Roading your Jeeps and not platform vs platform. Share you pics, videos, trail runs/reports, aftermarket parts and all your general off road questions and information here:

Off Road Modifications - Jeep Garage - Jeep Forum

I have been trying to organize the WK stuff the best I can (because that is what i know). I would appreciate some of your help in setting up threads similar to what has already been created for the WK and such for the WK2.

Thanks for the help and I look forward to seeing those WK2 in action.

Re: Calling All Off Roaders...
Please Note that all post regarding suspension lifts and all things off roading with the WK2 should be posted in the off road modification section (linked above). As mentioned before, we are working to reorganize that section, so please bear with me.

Went offroading about 45 minutes from Austin, Texas this past Thursday at Hidden Falls Adventure Park near Marble Falls, TX. This was my third time visiting the 4x4 park in the past year, and it just keeps getting better. Their fees are expensive if you show up late in the afternoon and need to drive an hour home, but $25 per car isn't bad (it's also an additional $15 per passenger if you bring friends/family along for the ride) if you plan to get there early and go wheelin' all day from open to close (9am to 5pm). I included some pictures that don't totally do it justice. The views there, and the trails, are absolutely awesome. I didn't get too crazy with my 2011 JGC Overland, but did venture off the Range Road (Level 1) and some Level 2 stuff to try out the Level 3. Got through halfway on some of the Level 3s, but had to turn around and go back on most. I enjoyed giving the low-gear SelecTrac "Rock" setting a good workout. They have some truly gnarly Level 5s for you true rock-crawlers out there. I suggest anyone in the area try and visit at least once, and stop in to Jones Jeeps out front when you enter the dirt drive. The owner is a nice guy and doesn't mind taking time to talk about his shop and Jeeps in general. Here are some pictures from my trip, as well as the attached Full Size 4x4 Map of the park:

They appear to be Nitto Trail Grappler M/T tires. Size I am unsure of but based on the height, I would say bat 32.5" - 33" tall, maybe 275-65/20.

The rims look like those made by KMC, series XD, model 806 Bomb. Nice!
