daystar BB mileage, whats yours?

just wondering how many miles everyone has on their daystar BB? im looking at roughly 45k on mine. im wondering how many miles you can put on these spacers without them deteriorating or starting to wear. never wheeled them, but theyre not like the RC spacers that are metal.

also the higher the mileage, the more effect it has on your ride? im just curious as im contemplating swapping these to over to my new struts- or just not worry about them.

feedback?

Depends on driving habits and where you take your jeep. I added bilsteins and monroe LLR's to mine. Stiff as heck. I love it though so its all in what you want. My spacers are fine less than 5k on them.

IMHO, pitch them and go for metal spacers. or an OME spring upgrade. I've been talking to kolak and the bilsteins and the llrs will work with ome springs (643). All in all, daystar isn't THAT appealing to me.

Already have the rear addco and the front SRT swaybar. Ditching my Bwoody extended links and I'm sure the new bilstein HDs I'm going to swap in will be a bonus. I was thinking of even considering some Monroe's...

ive had mine in for about 9-10 months now. Havent had any issues.. the click and knock every once ina while but not all the time... (could be fixed with the sway bar bushings most likely)... but im running stock struts and shocks too ...I havent had any issues though (knock on wood).. I'm gonna run the daystar with my stock struts and shocks until they need replacing... then ill probably grab some OME springs and run the OME springs with Bilsteins and Monroe 643s.

you guys think thats a safe plan?

I would say it's a plan. I would also say you nuts not to start saving for an SL.
But at this point, I don't think I need to post what my opinion anymore. I think I have said it enough. Lol!

You got it:thumbsup:

But if you are dead set on a lift. The SL is the only way to go.

wait.. the SL.. are you sure?? i thought going from a leveling kit, to a BB, to the OME, to the modified OME ...THEN the SL is how its done hahah

plus, then you get a smashed up shipping box with missing parts and whatnot... haha JK JK

nah, youre right Lucas. i just dont do that serious of wheeling to justify the costs in a SL. but for all that do .. def. just go SL. youre right and we all know this.
