Old Meets New...

Look what I parked behind while running out to lunch at a local deli shop. A Cherokee Classic 4.0.

You can definitely tell they share some DNA!

Cool picture. I owned a Jeep Cherokee Classic back in the day & traded it for my first Grand Cherokee. Thanks for the memories!

Haha, you and me both. I had a 2001 Cherokee Sport, traded it for a '12 WK2. Bought the '01 when I was 19 and stupid. I should have died many times in that Jeep, but it just seemed to shrug it off and keep going.

Awesome! Your jeep strongly makes me consider taking my original grill in for color matching!

Cool picture. Yours looks mean and beefy compared to the old style.

I had a 00 classic that i regret trading in for a (vomit in my mouth) chevy. I feel ashamed....

Man, those XJs were some of the most simplistic, useful, perfect vehicles ever.

And that 4.0 I-6 just ran and ran, I had fond memories of my '97 GJC.

I bet that XJ has 130K plus miles on the clock.... my 1991 just turned 180K miles and still runs strong.
