Volant Installed
Received it this evening and just installed it. One of the easiest intake installs I have done. It definitely cleaned up the engine bay a lot and the hardest part of the install was punching the engine cover back on.

Took it for a short drive and it definitely sounds much better especially when on the gas! I may be satisfied without an exhaust for now as I like the quiet after coming from multiple vehicles with exhausts/drone. I'm not expecting any power gains as I never have with any intakes but hope to pick up an Intune DCX once the bugs are worked out.

I did not have any install issues and the concern with the mounting bracket being too long seems to have been resolved. I also did not notice any issues with the box rubbing the hard lines others have reported. I did remove the silver volant plaque on the box as I found it a bit much, a small screwdriver and it was gone. I plan to find another sticker of some sort to put in it's place. This makes the intake look like it belonged there from the factory!
