Seats on 2014 Overland

The seats on my 2011 overland are very hard. Is there anyone with a 2011 and a 2014 that can give a comparison? Are they any more comfortable on the 2014?

Seats typically arent made anymore like they used to be on the 99-04 Overlands. Those things were like lazy boy recliners lol. The seats on the 2014 will be similar if not identical to what were in your 2011 Overland. I thought they were nice and comfy, but that was just my opinion. I test drove a 2014 Overland and owned a 2012 Overland. I did not notice any difference in the seats, they were great!

The seats in my 2014 Overland feel great. I just came back from a few hour trip and absolutely no fatigue...

Seems like many seats these days focus on lots of adjustments in order to maximize comfort, rather than extra plush cushioning.

I'm glad they do it this way. Plush seating looks nice when new, but looks terrible when aged. Leather moves more, cracks easier, etc.

Stiffer seats may be more uncomfortable for many, as it will likely expose a weak back.

I couldnt be happier with the Overland seats....but i sleep on a firm tempurpedic mattress too...so it aligns nicely with my preferences.

It's the most recommended bed in America. haha

What I wouldn't mind is a layer of memory foam in the Overland seats...that would be nice!

I find the overland seats to be firm but still comfortable. Although, I wish where the overland stitching kind of bubble out and is annoying the upper part of my back.

there are some aftermarket solutions like Katzkins they are called Liquicell Pads that help with fatigue and so on. I just dont think they work since the Overland has ventilated seats.

I love the overland seats...would just be cool if they incorporated some memory foam from the factory.
