'09 WK Laredo Alignment

Just put new tires on last week (Cooper Discoverer AT3's). BIG $$$!!! Even though the Jeep was driving fine, I thought it would be a good idea to have an alignment done. So, I (stupidly) brought it to the dealer. I was lucky enough to stand with the tech and watch him while he did it. And he even made a comment on how straight it was for the mileage (almost 50K) but he still said it just needed a little "tweaking"! As soon as I left, I noticed immediately that it was pulling to the right! After having more than one bad experience with them, I decided that this was the LAST time I would go there!! So, I decided to take it to a "Mom & Pop" shop that specializes in tires and alignments. After leaving it with them for a few hours, they said that they did "the best that they could do" yet, it's STILL slightly pulling to the right!!! I'm kicking myself in the a** cause there really wasn't anything wrong with it to begin with and I should have just left it!!!! SO, my question is, has anyone else had this happen? Should I cave and bring it to a chain like Town Fair Tire or NTB? It's driving me CRAZY every time I drive!!!

Are you able to get the print out of the angles after it has been aligned?

Do you know if it is within spec? In other words, what can't they get right?

I would keep going back to the original place that you had the alignment performed. They can't make it right if you don't give them the chance.

As an aside, I wouldn't beat yourself up over getting it aligned - chances are once the new tires were put on it would have needed it anyway (even if it didn't before).

The dealer didn't but the alignment shop gave me a print-out of the "before and after" specs. It looks as if they got it within the specifications but then again, I was told that that they did the best they could!
