rattling plastic

ok, I have asked this question on other forums and have not recieved an answer.

1st, what is the plastic surround peice aroung the wiper arm?

that part on my drive side is loose at the window, when driving it rattles on the window and drives me nuts. When alone I just blast the stereo, but when I have someone else in my jeep all I can hear is that damn rattle.

I pulled off the weather strip and all the little plastic nubs seem to be there. on tghe pass side they fit snug, but on the drives side the one closest to the fender doesn't snap.

Should I just silicone glue it in place???

I forget what they are called right off hand.....LOL. But it is two pieces. I would order the drivers side piece new and replace it. They are very easy to remove. Call Peter at justforjeeps.com and he can hook you up. Dont forget the 5% JG discount

I have the same problem. The plastic on the pass side of the windshield isn't flush with the windshield and I hear wind noise and it bothers the hell out of me when I have people in the jeep.

i dont about that piece nate. i was talking about the cowl piece, the part the windshield wiper comes thru.

hey OP, thats the part you are talking about right, the cowl piece that the WW pokes thru?

if yes, the pass. side is yours in a few eeks. you'll need to cover the shipping if you want it.
