Spacers or wheels?
I've been looking for some black wheels I like for a while now but can't find any i like. Looks like the Mamba MR-1's were discontinued, which is too bad because they looked awesome. Another option are the Moab take-off that I'd have to get powdercoated. But that gets pricey around here.

What I'm mostly after is better backspacing to get the wheels toward the fender for a wider stance. I used to have Rough Country 1.5" spacers until a bolt sheared off and was found by a mechanic doing a routine brake those obviously went to the dumpster.

I hear spidertrax are the best but I'm obviously a little hesitant with spacers. Not to mention my wheel bearings aren't looking top notch these days and spacers might stress them too much (to be debated).

Any recommendations?

Wheels with the proper offset are better then wheel spacers. If you have to go with spacers then spidertrax are the way to go.

Search a little harder the Mambas are available again. Another member just picked them up.

Nope they bought brand new ones. Not sure if Mamba got sold or what not but the Mr-1 went away and are now back but called the Mr-1x.

mamba Mr1x

Well well..this is certainly good news. Wonder if there's anything different form the "old" mr-1's.

Re: Spacers or wheels?
Looks like the same wheel but with a black center cap instead of the crappy chrome ones mine have.
