RAQ to REF question

I did a search here but did not find an answer to this. I have an 05 Limited with an RAQ stereo head. When I bought the GC, the disc changer did not work. No biggie at first, I don't use discs anyways (I don't even own that many anymore!). But the family is taking a trip this summer and I wanted to have something to play, so I took it apart to get the stuck discs out. When I did, the whole damn thing fell apart! I got the discs out, there was a broken one inside, but now it makes a horrible noise when first starting up. The stereo still works perfect, other than that, but I do want to switch it. After doing some research on the REF stereo heads, I found that they are NOT UConnect compatible. Can anyone confirm/deny this? I do have UConnect and I would rather keep it for when traveling through states like NY where even holding your phone while driving is a crime punishable by death. I want to switch to the REF for the aux in jack. Also, the RAQ I have now will play the sound of the factory rear DVD. Will an REF do this as well or does it only work through the headphones?

Re: RAQ to REF question

Do what I did, get an RAK, 6-CD/Cassette. You get the best of both worlds. I use an old-school cassette adapter to connect my phone/mp3 etc. They swap right in, mine came out of an 05 Magnum.
