HID's on the 2014 -vs- HID on the 2011-13

Has anyone seen both is there a difference in output, cutoff, or beam pattern? I know the projector and the bulbs are different in the 2014. Anyone have any thoughts and/pics of these?

I have a 2012 and a 2014 and the 2012 HIDs are definitely brighter with a different beam pattern if that helps. I'm not liking the change that much to be honest.

think you could do a pic comparison, like head on and a shot of the cut offs on a wall?
thanks

I had the 12 and have the 14 now as well and I agree that try just aren't the same. The new projectors don't have the width of the old ones and the light seems "blotchy" on the ground in front of you. I am wondering if a clear lense swap will fix it or if we would have to do a whole projector swap.

That being said, does anyone know exactly who the manufacture of our HID lights/projectors are? Valeo maybe?

I understand the 2014 GCs headlight assembly is made by Magneti Marellij, owned by Fiat. They make a lot of car parts and assembly. Read that on Allpar.

Beam pattern aside, can everyone see well at night? How are the high beams? My nighttime eyesight is getting worse the older I get.

Coming out of a mazda cx-9, the jeep 2014 beam seems more yellow. I'm tempted to change the bulb to a whiter white. Anybody know what the stock temperature is?

People Have mentioned around 4300K stock. I would switch up to no higher than 6000K
