How to choose proper backspacing
So havent been on the forum in a while. Just lifted my jeep finally with the rro lift and bilsten shocks and struts. But here is my new problem from doing some reading my stock ronin 2s have a 50.8 mm backspacing. The rims i want are mickey tompson classic iii's there 17x9 4.5 inch backspacing and -12 offest i plan to run all terrain ko with them how much will those rims stick out i just dont want the jeep to look retared

Well, if a 35 mm offset on the srt 20x9 rim put the tire almost to the fender, I'd say -12 will stick out about 2" beyond the fender when you finish putting on the AT tires.

thanks for the input i was hoping to get about half a inch to a inch outside the fender not a whole 2 inchs
