Question: can the modern WK2 swaybars have a quick disconnect?
 
The Quadra drive on my Overland is fantastic, but there is little to no articulation as we all know and the wheels get thrown quickly up in the air and don't stay in the ground for traction.

How easy is it to disconnect the swaybars for offroad use? Is there a "quick disconnect" available in the aftermarket?

I was just reading in the "other forum" about the same subject...nope. WK2 isn't designed for that kind of thing.

Just because it isn't designed for it doesn't mean it can't be done, I run my Compass with the swaybar disconnected, noticeable difference offroad, a few bolts and zip ties and you are ready to rock, only issues may be the CV axles being at to extreme of an angle causing premature wear

CV joints love extreme angles.

The suspension has limits built in, it's not the sway bar. It won't over travel without it it just flexes easier.
