you will be fine but I wouldnt tap into them in the overhead. i used an 'add a circuit' that replaces the one fuse and adds another fused power wire. like this:

http://www.parts-express.com/pe/show...ource=googleps

just be sure you get the one for the mini fuses under the dash.

rob another question here...

so lets say i use this and piggy back the 10amp fuse in the interior... will the leds that i hook up to this fuse only turn on when the interior lights are on? or will they always be on since there is no switch hooked up to them?

Re: wk interior lights fuse question

go back to wkjeeps and look at the fuses. if you choose one that is marked B+ it willl always have power, jeep on or off. the other will only have power when the Jeep is running.

Re: wk interior lights fuse question

i'm hoping that works ok bc you know how in the back we tapped into the lights with the 6 superflux leds those only come on when you turn on the lights... but those 6 leds only take 480 Mi which is 1/2 an amp

Door modules, Memory switch, O/H lamps, IP courtesy lamps, Glove box lamp (B+)

damn... i'm just thinking in my head if this is going to keep the lights always on.. i think it may... i think i might have to tap a light wire

Re: wk interior lights fuse question

If you want these extras to go on when you open the doors, then you will have to tap into the overhead wires at the light, the other fuse panel will supply power all the time...
