Hemifever Trinity!

Just like everyone else.....I've been reading all of these good reviews about the Hemifever tunes so I pulled the trigger. Can't wait to get it and try it out. Already have cold air intake and cat back exhaust and now I'm thinking about adding a ported throttle body. I really think that a set of long tube headers will really wake the 5.7 up so I hope the after market offers that soon.

I am almost ready to try this as well. Subscribed for your input.

Kooks was looking for a WK2 not too long ago, so it sounds like something is in the works.

I talked to Kooks the other, they just released their SRT8 headers. He said something strange.....he said he thinks the SRT headers will fit the 5.7 but it would need different mid-pipes. Now I don't know enough about the Hemi motors to know if they have the same exhaust ports and spacing......I'm going to guess and say they are different.

Well I Installed the 91 tune last night but didn't get a chance to drive it. I did adjust the tire size and now the damn ABS light is on. I reset the the tire size a d the ABS light is still on. So I did some digging......turns out this is a known problem with no fix yet. That blows!!:(

Re: Hemifever Trinity!

So the drive into work.....heavy traffic so no real chance to get on it but even if it add zero horsepower, just the transmission reprogramming alone is so worth it! It holds gears longer and it shifts firmer, also the down shifts are perfect! I did mash the go pedal a couple of times and it does seem to pull a little stronger in the mid range but that's about all I have to report. I have half a tank of 89 in it right now on the 91 tune so it might be pulling some timing. I'm going to fill up with 93 tonight and when I get the chance I'll be going straight to the 93 tune. So far I'm pleased......just hope they fix the ABS light soon.

American Racing is already using the SRT8 headers on a few Jeeps and Durango's out there!

So are you saying that American Racing WK2 SRT8 Jeep headers fit the standard 5.7 Hemi WK2?

FYI, American racing does have 5.7L headers for the WK2. Same price as the SRT8
