2014 Overland

So I know my forward collision does not work and now I discovered the hill start assist does not work either. Checked to make sure it was on and it is. Would someone else check to see if their's works. Thanks

I have a 2014 Summit. Both systems work. I confirmed it a few days ago.

2014 Overland here and forward collision works for me as well. Kept nagging me whenever a car merged in front of me while using the adaptive cruise control.

Car is going in this week for repair. The screen died yesterday during an hour long trip. Shut the car off, but it did no reset the scree. Started the car a few hours later and the screen came back on. It also rebooted a couple of times while driving home.

OP: are you referring too front park sensors which my understanding is summit specific or the adaptive cruise function?

My forward collision warning works great. I learned about it the hard way. I was driving home from the dealer and was playing with all the gadgets and it beeped loudly and braked when I almost ran into someone.

Neither. He is referring to forward collision warning system. At least I think that's what he said.

Hopefully the screen rebooted and not the car... :)

(spoken from someone whose car actually rebooted while driving)

Yes, forward collision warning. Not adaptive cruise control braking.

How did you diagnose it as not working ? If your active cruise control works, the other more than likely is working also. You may have it set for NEAR rather than FAR. Even on FAR it is a pretty hard job to get it triggered unless you are either into Russian Roulette type excitement or yu have the certitude that the vehicle ahead of you will turn left/right and you are not going to brake - at speeds above 20 mph.

Money well spent, 100% or more return on the investment right there...

Mine work. Just yesterday a car started to turn so I didn't slow down and then all of a sudden they didn't turn. BRAKE! BRAKE! BRAKE! So I did. :) Has also alerted in adaptive cruise control when the traffic in front of me was suddenly doing 30 mph and I was still doing 75. It recognized it couldn't brake enough for me and so alerted me.

2014 GC Overland ORAII and ATG.
