Inner Fender?

Has anyone else noticed after a nice rain the inner fenders on the '14s soak in a lot of water? Got home the first day of owning it..in light rain ;( and noticed that a lot of water on the ground after parking it for a while, and the roads were barely even wet. Any thoughts? Is it from all the sound deadening?

When I was washing truck yesterday I was cleaning wheel wells and noticed that the liners seem to soak up the water.

I have noticed the same as well on my Jeep. Drove in the rain a good bit yesterday and I come out a few hours later and there is a lot of water on the ground. This has to be from the felt lined wheel wells.

That's where the water came from . Those felt wheel well liners are good for absorbing sound and soaking up water.

Is it just me or does the felt liners just really dirty as well? Seems to hold the dirt a lot.
