8.4 uconnect nav

Does anyone notice that when the nav is speaking the radio makes a clicking noise almost a short out noise in the 2014 limited? Is there any way to fix it without shutting down the nav audio?

Haven't noticed it, but I will check for it and post results.

Used the nav many times in my Overland and never experienced this problem. The audio source volume does diminish to make it easier to hear the nav.

Once someone pointed out how to adjust the nav volume with the knob ... so it stays, I have only one problem with my nav. It can get me anyplace I want to go, right to the door, except home. It always takes me to a house 2 blocks away.

Not really a problem though. It turns out that the woman who lives there makes a good cup of coffee.

Dumb question..but I just got mine ..how do I turn off the NAV when the radio is playing and I no longer need the NAV? Thanks

Goto Nav screen

Hit menu
Hit stop routing

Or something like that.

You would think they would find a way to gradually but quickly turn down the audio for this. But no...

In our Acura, the nav audio came out of the center front speaker. That worked well and the rest of the audio didn't have to be touched.

In my GC it seems the audio lowers dramatically, and then the nav audio seems to be on the driver's side... Very strange.

Wouldn't you want that to happen?

Or voice command ... "Cancel Route Guidance"

She will ask if you are sure? After the beep say Yes.

And never take your eyes off the road.

Jacko,

Mine doesn't lower the radio much, but the Nav voice definitely comes from the driver's side.
