Bwoody intake
Hey guys, I still have the mod itch even tho I have had my new SRT8 only a week! I'm looking at the Bwoody intakes. Now they have a 4" and a 3 1/2" if I'm not mistaken. Which one is better and do they both run into the fender well? Also what are some other mods to do? I had to sell my SCT tuner since it doesn't work on WK's but i am keeping my Innovate LM2 datalogger.

Re: Bwoody intake
Get the 4 inch Bwoody because it is one full piece.

And that still runs into the fender?

Re: Bwoody intake
Neither go down into the fender, but they get way down next to it.

I have the Bwoody 4" and love it.

As for a tuner, i'd look into the diablo predator or trinity, i actually have a predator I'm getting ready to sell.

Re: Bwoody intake
Cool thanks, Ill look more at the 4" then. Which one is more worth it, Predator or Trinity? And do they both require custom tuning? I want one more like my SCT which is custom tuneable by someone rather than like Superchips where its pretty limited.

Re: Bwoody intake
Both the diablo products allow custom tuning via E-mail. They also have "canned" tunes that come with them.

the predator is able to data log, but only one log at a time, same with tunes. The Trinity is significantly more expensive, but is able to log more information, more logs, and carry multiple tunes. It's usually used when you step up above the normal 'bolt on" mods.

Re: Bwoody intake
My plan is just for simple bolts on's for now. It already has the Corsa cat-back system, Ill get the 4" bwoody and maybe a 90mm TB, just basic stuff. Pm me about that tuner.
