2013 grand cherokee help!?

I wanted to know if i add a air intake to my 13 grand cherokee 3.6L will it one, give it more power, better sound, increase gas milage. Also what brand i was thinking K&N.

Can i install dual exhausts? Maybey magnaflow if i or maybey just mufflers and split the exhaust pipe and add the second one on to the end?

Also are there any other things i can do? Supercharger? Turbo?

Thanks id appreciate any feedback

You will get a little horsepower out of a intake but it will take away some bottom end torque, which the v6 is lacking anyways. A exhaust may help, but you will pretty much be adding noise more than anything unfortunately.

The nature of the 3.6L is that it is an engine that needs to be up past 2500 rpm for it to begin to give you any grunt, pushing a 5000 AWD SUV makes it feel weak but it is far from week.

The dual exhaust is an option but not a inexpensive one.

If you don't mind the extra noise the magnaflow sounds the best and looks the best (IMHO).

Take it from some one that has used both the magnaflow and the OEM dual exhaust, this is not speculation.

There is very little loss of low end torque with the 3.6L the benefit of increasing the exhaust flow can be felt in the mid range and top end.
The overall feel is that the vehicle is more responsive and actually feel quicker, I doubt there is any increase in horsepower, but it makes what you have availble more accessible.

The engine revs freer and passing is much easier, with dual exhaust, if you Use the OEM hemi exhaust there is no added noise, if you use magnaflow 16929 hemi kit you get the 4" inch polished tips and nice rumble.

We have another 3.6L still with the single exhaust that I use as the control all the time it uses the same fuel only difference it that it has 17" wheels.

compared to the dual exhaust the single exhaust feels like something is holding it back almost like it is pulling an anchor in 1st and 2nd gear. The dual exhaust car feels lighter and quicker off the line.

Where you could just pass a car or two with no hesitation in the dual the single struggles to get up to speed.

I am a realist and I would tell you if the mod was a waste of money but to me it was worth every penny.
