New 12' SRT Grand Cherokee? Any takers? It's way way way below invoice

Hi! I'm here to help out a friend who's a dealer. He has a 2012' SRT Grand Cherokee, he's ready to toss it for whatever, I bought my 13' Alpine SRT from him my msrp was 68, I paid 58. Not promising any numbers as I can't but you can imagine that a 12' sitting on the lot right now is ready to get tossed. Also 2 2012' SRT 300's please let me know if you're interested, i'd love to get you hooked up. Nothing in it for me, just know some of us aren't in financial times to get a new SRT GC for msrp so this might be the way to make it work for you.

Kindly,
Rob

What color and options and what's MSRP and what's invoice? What city/state? Thanks.

That's the right color but doubt the price will get to where I would consider. pm me if he's DESPERATE to sell at a much lower price.

He may have to go as low as $50k to move it, as that's about what it will be worth once driven off the lot.

I'm not sure if those prices are do-able but I had been advised that there is room on this car, and the other 2012 SRT's.

I argued for months on a 2013 vapor with a 68k price tag that was a demo. They were stuck at 62k saying that invoice was 61500 and they wouldn't go a penny lower. I even offered 500 under and they said no. I have no idea how you guys got these amazing deals, unless you traded and they made some money on that.

I finally gave up and bought a 2014 as it seemed to be a much better value for what I was offered in my area.

As for OP's question. I went back to that dealership and drove the piss out of their 13. The throttle response at 30-60 is much greater when accelerating hard in the 14.

07 TBSS Jerky acceleration that threw you in your seat. Not because its that fast, just sudden jerkiness.

13 SRT8 less jerky, way more pull

14 SRT even less jerky, more smooth acceleration that the blood in your face can feel.

The differences between the two were pretty apparent to me.

Just made him an offer...I live in Chicago and made him an offer that he will prob say is not worth it to him...but if he wants...ill be taking a little road trip ;)

XLR8R 05-28-2013 10:51 PM

am I the only one here who can see the OP's screen name... its like camouflaged or invisible to everyone else, and Its only revealing itself to me, like a ghost whisperer or something..

isn't ignoring the chosen name like, I dunno ...trusting your kids alone with a nanny named "psycho Sue"?

and letting your kids play on a traveling team for soccer coach "pedophile Phil" ?

or having unprotected sex with a girl who's screen-name is "herpes helen"?

or letting a guy named "Mike Vick" feed your Pitbull and pet-sit for you while you're on vacation?

or...well you get the idea

Just for comparison (in case your dealer buddy is wondering), I've been going back and forth with a dealer on a 2012 mineral gray srt8 with 29 miles on it. LOng story short I got him down to $52,000. I'm just a little concerned with how badly that thing will depreciate considering there have been now 2 model years released since. 52k is a heck of a price though. I might make a move.
