So anyone installed these on a standard WK2. Any tricks or is it a straight forward swap?

No go, just tried to mount these and I can't get them to sit flush with the roof....don't really want to modify the stock mounting points. Also just for Jeep sent me two rails for the right hand side....need a left and a right.

Any updates on this? I installed them and sure enough there is a small gap and they are not sitting flush. I'm considering drilling out the holes on the rails to allow room for the rivets on the roof and make it sit flush

Nope, they sent me 2 of the same side.....don't remember if it was 2 lefts or 2 rights but either way I sent them back. I did test fit them and just like you they didn't sit flush. I was also considering drilling the roof rail. I was also going to apply some 2 sided tape to the bottom of the rails to prevent them from scratching the paint.
