Uconnect 8.4an - Apps and IPhone Music

1. Does anyone know (milous?) when the Apps like Pandora will be released and how to get them on your truck? I note that the cnet review vehicle clearly had all the apps available and they loved those apps!

2. The volume and EQ is vastly different (too much gain/bass) when changing to the iPod/iPhone connection when plugged into USB or over Bluetooth. Is there a way to fix this other than changing the EQ on iPhone from flat to bass reducer each time I get in the truck?

Happy jeeping

1. Nope, this is done by UConnect mostly. We are all at their mercy on this.
2. did you try adjusting the bass on the 8.4 radio?

re: bass adjustment, I found for SXM/FM pop/rap I am:
-1 Bass
+1 Mid
+4 Treb
Surround is OFF

But for iPhone over BT, I go to -4 Bass... just annoying when switching back and forth. Line level should be similar across sources but it is not for some reason. It could be an iPhone issue though.

Another question is if there is a way to adjust the crossover for the sub (it seems to be set in the 120+ HZ range), as I feel the bass is directional (obviously coming from the passenger side rear).

The system is great overall, just minor gripes as a semi-audiophile enthusiast.

I've noticed (and seen it mentioned by others in random threads) that the 'media' tab options are significantly louder and more bass-y than the am/fm/sat tab. I usually have to do a 5-10 point volume change when I switch between modes, but like the extra bass in media mode for most songs, and since I usually don't listen to much radio, it hasn't been a big deal for me. It will be interesting to see if the apps have a third audio level.
