Mounting garmin gps in a 14'

I use my nav every day, and while the stock system is adequate it is nowhere near what my portable garmin is. Some companies have mounts for the 13' nothing for the 14'. So has anyone come up with a good place to put a portable gps?

I had it on the windshield on my old car, but tinted the windshield on the GC so no more suction mounts, and would rather not have it sit on my dash.

Any ideas?

Hi

Would you maybe have details of the ones that are available for the 2013 model?

Thanks
Chris

Sure, there's a couple different companies that make them.

PanaVise Products, Inc.

Jeep*Grand Cherokee*2013*Dashboard Mounts*-*ProClip USA

Thats all I've found so far.

Looks like your link to the ProClip shows it will fit 2011-2014 JGC.

Yes, air vent mounts are universal. And having a GPS down on the console wouldn't be that great, would be ok for a phone mount.

No windshield, no dash, no console, what's left? :)

I purchased the vent mount from proclip, while it is ok for my phone, it sits to far away from the dash and blocking the one vent is not all that great. I will use the proclip until I either figure another way to mount (without making changes to the dash in any way) or just give up the access to my phone all together and have it sit inside the cubby whole in the bottom middle section of the dash. making phone calls from the 8.4 works great I mainly use the access to the phone to view emails and decide if it warrants me to pull over to answer (work relies on me to be available 24/7)

Was thinking mounted on top of the rear view mirror, I already have my valentine one mounted below my mirror. Just not a lot of room above the mirror. Possibly to the left of the mirror, but would have to make a custom bracket to go under the headliner :( looking for something easier.

Exterior mount on the hood with a beefed-up suction cup. Not too sure if it will be visible with your tinted windshield.

Amazon.com: Arkon Gn033-G Cup Holder Mount For Garmin Nuvi: GPS & Navigation

I use one of these in my wifes car. You lose use of one of your cupholders. I like it because I can remove it and hide it when I park the car to avoid someone breaking in.
