Any WJ's on 22in SRT reps out there?

Im looking into getting gloss black SRT reps but I can't decide whether to get 20's or 22's. Pictures, pros cons, or anythings helps. Thanks https://fbcdn-sphotos-e-a.akamaihd.n...86520299_n.jpg

just go with 20s, keep some meat on the tires and ride quality

22s always get vibration issues.... unless your tire guy has a Hunter Road Force Balancer or similar.

Really, seams to be an issue with the Porsche Cayenne and the Mercedes GL.... See those people getting entire sets of tires replaced under factory warranty all the time due to vibration problems. I was in at a Porsche dealer with a buddy buying the new Cayenne and they even said that if you have over 20s you are likely to have more problems. (Mind you they seem to often be continentals on many of those trucks)

I think 22's might be over kill and we have some shitty roads here in Washington. Can anyone recommend a 20in tire?

What rim width are the SRT reps?

And or a good way to get a full spectrum of recommendations is if the reps are the same spec as one of the years of SRT just go in and put that model and year in tirerack.com and it will give lots of options.

Personally I am a Michelin fan but need more info to recommend a tire.

20x9 but to my understanding a staggered setup w/ 20x10s in the rear works too? I've been searching around and found a guy who did it without spacers, running 255/45 in the front and 285/40 in the rear If thats true I'll be doing that. :)

I'm aiming for a baby Jeep SRT look and Haven't seen a WJ on 22" reps on here, Maybe i could be the first. haha

I think you would run into rubbing issues with the 22" reps unless you run rubberbands on them. Im running 20" 20X9 black reps with 255-40-20 Pirelli's and they are amazing, no rubbing at all.

I think I've finally abandoned the 22's idea. What would be better for everyday pavement and the occasional gravel road, 255 or 275?

I used to have a set of 20's on 275-45-20 and they rubbed on max turns. Maybe if you went with a 275-40-20 it would clear but I'm not sure. 255-40-20 for sure will clear and leave plenty of meat for pavement.

Yeah I have gloss black 22" SRT reps on my '04 limited with nexus 265/35s. No fitting or rubbing issues, and the surprisingly it rides as good as smooth as it did with the stock wheels.
