8.4AN Phone issue when placing a call with Voice commands

I have my iPhone 5 paired to the 8.4AN system. I have two phone numbers for one of my contacts, mobile and home. If I look them up in the system it shows the two numbers. When I attempt to use the voice commands to "Call John Smith Home", it then asks me which line # to call and displays 3 numbers two of which are duplicates. I then tell it Line 3, and then it says, calling "John Smith Home". Anybody else having this problem? It's irritating as it takes more interaction than it should to call somebody and when it asks me what Line # to call it just displays the phone numbers and not what they are, so sometimes i don't know which # is the home number. Obviously it does because it tells me once I tell it to call line # 1.

I think I can answer this myself after some more testing. If you download your phonebook and then add John Smith home as a favorite, when you do a voice command it will then think John has three numbers instead of two. You will then be asked to choose which line to call. If I remove John Smith from my favorites it works as expected. The solution or work around for this issue is to just not have any favorites.

Makes sense. Why would you need favorites with VR?

I added numbers to favorites when I first downloaded the phone book, so I didn't know that would cause problems with VR. At a stoplight I might prefer to just hit two buttons on the screen to dial a number, and favorites are easier for a passenger make a call. Oh well, not sure it's a big deal, but seems like bug in the software. The VR should either just look at the phonebook, or the favorites shouldn't create a duplicate entry.
