Build Sheets

Hi Jeep people

Can someone please let me know how to get hold of a build sheet for my '13WK2? I used to have one for my WJ and found it useful from time to time.
I asked the service manager at the caryard where I bought the Jeep and he fumbled around on the computer and really didnt have any idea of what I was asking for. :(
I contacted Jeep Australia through Facebook as I couldnt find a "contact us" section on the jeep website and the response was to contact the dealer!! Back to square 1.:(

So does anyone have a tip on how to obtain a build sheet?

Cheers

Matt

Normally you have to be a level 3 or higher site support to get that information. Milous would be the person who would get that.

Try this site it will cost you $5 US but get you what you need
http://www.compnine.com/dealerlogin.php . or try Contact Jeep in the US which I have also done to get the a copy of the original buildsheet .
You will need to enter a USA state and Zip but they will get back to you .:)

I believe that is just a VIN report, and not an official PDF factory build sheet, which is what one would want.

Then you believe wrongly as I have my build sheet that I got just Yesterday from this very site .
What it does is use your Vin no to search for your build sheet and it will tell you the number of options first before you pay so you will know if it is worth your $5 US.

Does it list:

3 or 4 digit Sales codes for all equipment listed (important)
Selling dealer
Warranty information
Build date and hour
Body style (6-digits)
In-Service date
In-Service odometer
Vehicle warranty repair history
Separate sections for standard equipment and optional equipment
3-5 page PDF document with all listings sorted into columns

Re: Build Sheets

You need to register at the Mopar site with your VIN but it is all on the web...for US persons at least. A year ago you could just give it a VIN and it would burp everything but they seem to have fixed that bug.

I have registered both my Jeep and the Crossfire and have the build info, delivery info, service contract for the Jeep, and service history for both.

For any new Chrysler you can feed it the VIN and get the window sticker. It is one of the nicer things they do. www.chrysler.com/hostd/windowsticker/getWindowStickerPdf.do?vin= + VIN

ps CompNine is a great site if you cannot get info from the mfr but it is all free from Chrysler and lists their complete record so why bother with anything else.

pps I did buy the complete service manual on CD for both from Tech Authority, for me it is valuable to have though was a pain to get to work on my tablet.

Re: Build Sheets

There is this site. Just add your vin right after the = sign with no spaces and it should bring it up. (oh and its free I might add). Its not a face sheet that has all the stuff that Milous brought up but its free and it has the info.

http://www.jeep.com/webselfservice/B...etServlet?vin=

Hope this helped.

Re: Build Sheets

Ok
Her in Aussie it is very hard to get any info out of Jeep they just point-blank refuse to assist you in anyway.
And no that site only gives a overview but that's about the best we can hope for some people have been luck but not many in getting a Build sheet from there local dealer .
The Contact us in the USA for Jeep does not allow for out of the USA , but some also have put in bogus State and Zip with some success also , so as you might see it not that straight forward downunder:thumbsup:

Re: Build Sheets

Interesing, that equipment list URL brought up the info for my 07 Crossie as well. No option codes but you can find those on a different list.

I did receive a list with option codes (ERB 3.6L V6 24V VVT Engine) from customerassist@chrysler.com "We are pleased to provide vehicle build information per your request."

Of course that was back in 2012 but it never hurts to try...

Re: Build Sheets

Support this great forum...upgrade your status to a premium level...and Milous will provide you with the build sheet. Yes, it's a few bucks more to do it that way, but this forum is a great resource.
