Painted mine matt black, get it back tomorrow will post pictures once I get it.

All chrome has been painted matt black (door trim, window trim, door handles, tail trim, bumper trim incl. parking sensors, roof rails, upper and lower front grills) - all matching the new Pro-comp wheels:

I'm posting on another thread for anti-chrome: http://www.jeepgarage.org/f182/dechr...-wk-60566.html

Re: black grille

I just got my exhaust sprayed in matt black ( I doubt you can plasti-dip that !). had to sand it down (it was chrome plated) to bare metal and coat it with 4 coats.

0 chrome now :)

Your tips or the whole thing?

The tip and a few inches up the pipe, the rest you can't see anyways unless you crawl under and have a look, upon realising there is a multitude of other colours down there :).

It made a big difference to the look though, hoping to go out with my DSLR and park up somewhere on the Palm for some sunset photos when I get a chance :)

How is your exhaust setup

Its a Mopar cat back exhaust installed from the dealer (no other option at the time without voiding warranty).

Just realised the paint started to flake away, this thing gets very hot here and the heat rating for the paint doesn't seem to stick. The same paint worked on a Golf R, so it must be the GC exhaust tip gets much hotter... next will try some industrial grade paint that withstands extreme temperatures .. the stuff they coat blast furnaces with perhaps :D

Who makes that bumper? That's the type I have been looking for but I have a hard time finding anything other than an ARB or Matrix from 4XGuard.
