Dreading the day my tags show up

I hope DMV here in CA. never sends my tags Looking at the GC pics that have a front tag I don't like them. I love the way the 2014's front end looks and IMO that tag will just make it look retarded. How can I make it look better when I have to attach the tag? Are there any kits out there or does anyone know of a way to make it look like that tags just not slapped on there? I wish these American car companies would think of this when their drawling up the car I see newer German cars with front tags and they look like fine.

Did your GC come with the Front License Plate Bracket?

Aren't Euro tags different geometry?

What color is your Jeep? From what I'm reading, it looks like the front license plate looks better on black or darker colored vehicles while it doesn't look so good on white and lighter colors.

The MOPAR chrome Jeep license plate frame might blend in a little bit.

Has anyone integrated their front plate into that mesh by the adaptive cruise sensor?

How nit picky are the cops in CA?

I live in IL (which requires a front plate) and have been running since day 1 without a front plate and haven't had any issues with the law (knock on wood). I also ran with no front plates on my last car for 4 years and never got stopped. I think they have bigger fish to worry about than stopping a car because of no front plate.

I agree, that the JGC looks much smoother with no front plate.

I live in Chicago an have gotten a few parking tickets for no front plate....never pulled over for it (wood being knocked) but they got me when I was parked

It's funny, my work parking lot is right off a busy street, so cop cars always sit in my work parking lot and look for speeders to go by. I've on several occasions pulled in and parked right next to the cop when going to work and they have never once said anything about me not having a front plate. (again, knock on wood).

I live in a small town, so maybe that has something to do with it. A little more laid back, who knows...

if anything, id think the small town cops would be looking for probable cause for traffic stops, which no front plate is, since it is usually slower for them

Yeah I think it's more that they just aren't paying attention to the front bumper as much as they are looking through the drivers window to make sure we are wearing a seatbelt. So they probably just never notice one isn't there.

When driving how often do you notice that someone does or doesn't have a front plate? While driving one day I was bored and actually started focusing on cars coming the other direction to see how many I could find without front plates. I was actually shocked how many I noticed on the road that didn't have them like mine. I just never noticed it before because it's not something you commonly look at when driving past cars.

Try it next time you drive, you may be surprised how many you see.... especially the higher end cars like Mercedes, Audi's, BMW's and Vettes. They seem to like their car with the least amount of holes as possible and often times take their chances like I do and don't run a front plate.

Well, i gotta tell ya,that is terrible advice to say "well cops have bigger fish to fry."
To be quite honest, you just give every single cop an excuse to possibly pull you over whenever they feel like it because you have no front plate.
