Hi I was just wondering what tire you guys think looks the best of on a 20 x 9 rim? Im open to the idea of the size 255 (45 or 50) 20 ,, or a 275 45 20. Im putting 4 20 x 9's and want a good looking tire for the srt wheels.

well i had falken ziex stz04 in 275 45 20 on the reps. They were a good tire, but really they are on the bottom of the tire price range and I want to try a tire that is a little more stock srt8 looking. Those tires also threw up tons of rocks while driving, probably because of the deep tire grooves. But my main reason is because I want a tire that is more stock srt8 looking but I dont want the runflats because of the price of them.

Yea I saw you went with 255 50 20 rob. Did you want a little more sidewall instead of the 255 45 20? How do they look on all 4 corners compared to a 275 45 20?

Also I am putting 20 x 9's all around.

thye go away from the 255-45 becasue theres not many choices and the choices there are do not have a size for the rear.

I would say a couple MM's each way would be ok....but cant be for sure. I know there are some people on here with different sizes

Well Im going to look into some 255 45 20 tires. I think the 275 45 20's look good on a wj but a little wide/big. The stock wheels on a wj are slightly smaller than the wk too. The wj has a 235 65 17 and the wk has 245 65 17 for stock. This makes the 255 45 20 only .04% difference in diameter than stock on a wj.

Scott, I think what you said about doing 255 45 20 only if you plan on lowering the jeep applies to the wk but Im not sure a wj since there is a difference in stock tire size. The 255 45 20 is like exactly the same diameter as the stock on a wj but on a wk its a 1/2 inch smaller diameter than stock hence you should lower your jeep.

Am I right in my thinking on this Scott?
