AC Shots off when remote starting the vehicle
Hello all,

I read few posts about the problem with the 2014 Grand Cherokee when remote starting via the FOB or Uconnect app on the iPhone. While everyone were speculating why it doesn't work, I took my Jeep into the dealer yesterday and they provided me with an official letter from Chrysler stating that this is a known software bug with all new 2014 Grand Cherokee models, and a fix is expected to be released via new software release in Q3 of 2013...

Another issue I've experienced a couple of days ago was when I was driving and all the alarm lights/symbols came up, stating I lost all features (ABS, rear camera, check engine, etc). The dealership confirmed it was a "known issue".

I am sure I am not the only one who experienced the above... what do I do, other then sit and wait?! Any feedback will be appreciated

Re: AC Shots off when remote starting the vehicle
Same here Rani. I had the same thing stated to me when a fix was coming for the Remote Start AC issue. Knowing they know about and are working on a fix is good by me. Also, the second issue you mention happened to me last week, what did the dealer say about a fix for that issue? I have to admit, that one concerns me far more than the AC deal. I assume on a restart, the lights and messages went away? Mine hasn't done that since. This forum is great to share our experiences, at least you know what you see isn't a one off.

Re: AC Shots off when remote starting the vehicle
After my second time having all the warning lights come on, Jeep sent and my dealer installed a new PCM. So far that seems to have fixed it.

The only thing they told me about the warning lights coming on was that "this was a known problem".. I did not hear about that PCM replacement.. The restart next morning has solved the problem for now, but if this happens again, they are going to have to give me better answers!
