275/55/20 Hercules Tera Track AT?
I recently added the RRO Leveling Kit and am now in search of a size upgrade for my tires. I wanted to do a test fit and there aren't a lot of places that seem willing to try different tires on like shoes, and I get that. But, I'm getting ready to spend a lot of money and it really helps me to get a live visual since I can't take them back once I've hit the road.
Anyway, I found a tire shop with some guys working that are real car enthusiasts. They put on lift kits etc. (wish I'd know as I'd have had them do my install / alignment) and they were willing to test fit. In stock, they only had a Hercules Tera Track AT, which I'd never heard of. They said that they're made by Cooper. Anyone know anything about them or have any experience with them? I like the look but, don't know much about them.
They are going to bring in a set of Nitto's for me and they're really high on the new Toyo Open Country AT2. These Hercules ones are about $200 less than the Toyo's and about $100 less than the Nitto's. At the end of the day, I'm not too worried about the money when I'm already spending that much. But, if I can save a few hundred but get a good tire that rides and looks good too, even better.
Let me know if you know anything or have heard anything on these Hercules deals. Thanks.
