2007 3.7L 2wd towing questions
I have a 2007 JGC 3.7L 2WD. I recently purchased a boat and wanted some feedback on pulling this with my Jeep. So I have a couple mods on my truck. Added a Airaid Intake, Gibson Exhaust, 22" SRT8 replica wheels staggered 9" in front and 10" in the rear. The tires are nexen roadian HP 265 35R22 in the front and 295 30R22 in the rear. My concern is the tires with the low profile sidewalls. The boat and trailer total about 1500 lbs. I have added a external transmission cooler. Do you think i should change our to my stock tires to tow this or will my rim and tire combination work out ok. I will be pulling this boat about 950 miles back from Michigan to South Carolina. Input would be greatly appreciated.

they should work fine, if your worried about them you can always air them up a couple of pounds to stiffing up the tire a little

When I tow around 1500lbs with my stock 3.7 I don't even know it's there....
You won't have any discernible problems with your setup. 1500lbs is pretty light. Most cars will easily tow 1500lbs.
