Mopar Roof Rack Rail Protectors

I purchased the standard Mopar roof rack cross bars. After installing them, instructions have you insert the rail load protectors into the T-slots if you are not mounting additional roof accessories to the cross bars. The first one I installed was a bit long, so I trimmed it....sure enough, the second one I installed was too short by about an inch and a half. So apparently I failed to notice that there were two different lengths (the limited instructions do not mention this).

My question to the board- Does anyone know if I can order two additional protector strips? I cannot find a part number or any site that has information (only the entire package with the cross bars for $250).

If anyone can help me out I would greatly appreciate it. I know I can run without them and one would do this with the accessories on top...but I do not want to leave additional equipment mounted on top when not in use, and the protectors do have a really good seal to keep out dirt and crud.

Thanks in advance for any info....

I'm not 100% sure but I thought Mopar roof racks were Thule products. If so maybe take a look at the Thule site or contact their customer service.

Take the one u cut and put both pieces into their proper place and run a small piece of electrical tape over their joint. Just a suggestion.
