Jeep Roadside Assistance
So I took the family up to Canada this past weekend and 30 minutes after getting there and 2 sips into my first beer my *wife* locks the keys in the truck... I flipped out a bit wondering how this is possible with a key fob but sure enough all doors were locked. She had dropped them in the cup holder while getting something from the car and closed the door with the edge of her hand on the passenger side lock button. I called the local Jeep dealer in town who gave me the JRA number and they contacted a local tow company who to my surprise showed up in 15 mins! I was shocked again. He airbagged the door ajar just enough to get the slim jim in there and pulled the door handle with no damage whatsoever. The entire process took about 2 mins, I tipped him generously and he drove away. The unlock cost was covered by Jeep. Great experience overall with Jeep and the tow company as well. My next move is to make a copy of the valet key and keep somewhere accessible.
Wow didn't think it was possible anymore with these electronic key fobs to lock keys in car. Good to hear roadside assistance was a help.
If you have a smartphone and get unconnect app I think you can remotely unlock doors from the app
