How to Remove Chrome from Grille on 2014?
 
Hey everyone! This is my first post on here. Just got a brand new Jeep Cherokee Limited. I've been using Plasti Dip on my emblems. Now, before I start to work on the rims, I want to do it to the grill, but I don't know how to do that. Is there anyway to take off the little chrome parts? Or can I just do it without taking it off if I just block off the Plasti Dip from getting into the radiator? I will post pictures soon! Thanks in advance!!

Oh, and I would like to remove them and then Plasti Dip it and then put it back on. Is it an easy process?

the little rings on the upper grille can be removed using a trim removal tool

Yeah I'm really trying to do is black out all the chrome parts around the car! So just that little chrome parts on the grill, and then the Rims and just a few other small things, and that's all I have left!

Instead of removing the Grille, is there anyway that I could just put Cardboard behind the Grille to block the Plasti Dip from getting into the radiator?

Under the hood on top of the grille section- pop out the two reusable plastic rivets and pry the top section up to release it. Now you can get behind it with some newspaper or what have you.
