First day: steering wheel vibration
I picked up my Jeep yesterday when driving home I realized steering wheel vibrates between 65-75 mph. Checked tire pressures 40-36-40-40. Made all 36 today still vibrates. I hope it is only a balance issue and hope delaer does not put weights outside  What do you think? I saw a tread but most people have 20 inches with Goodyears who experienced vibration. I have 18"s

I also realized my liftgate is not aligned properly it rubs to the right side.

I never got a perfect new car in my life so not surprising for me. GC is a really nice trunk. Hope I get fixed these quickly and enjoy more.

Re: First day: steering wheel vibration
Request a "road force" balance. It requires a special type of balance machine that they may not have. If they don't have the machine let them try a regular balance but if it still vibrates tell them you want the "road force" balance. They should cover the cost if they need to send you somewhere else to get it done. They do not put weights on the outer edges of alloy wheels, tape weights are used.

Re: First day: steering wheel vibration
Hemi15, I have a limited with 18" wheels and have noticed the same issue. I may bring it in before the first oil change, but at this point will likely wait. My selling dealer is a bit far an the local ones will not spend the time to make it right.

I had the same issue. as mentioned, above, just have them balance the wheels.
