Mod Fever..and it's not spring yet

Okay... Bought Silverstars for hi/lo (waiting for fogs). Bought 255/55/18 COOPER Discoverer M&S and installed them on my 18" chrome clad stockers. No more nitrogen.. My WK is going in the body shop this coming week. Going to replace the black rear lift gate handle with a body coloured one... and they will also remove the lower black bumper, add one from an Overland and paint it body colour too. When it is done... I will post some pics... or maybe wait until I get the summer wheel set up. I have decided on SRT reps, chrome. Now only two things remain... 20x9's on all four corners or the staggered look. Oh yah.. of course... tires too...think I need some help in that department....decisions decisions. At least I am making progress thanks to some things I have read on here.

Motteler found some Nitto 420s tires...all season in the stock srt sizes or 255-45 and 285-40. They can also be rotated side to side....which is the problem of the goodyears

I was looking at tire size calculations... and the effect on the speedo... I am leaning towards all four corners the same... My stock size is 245/60/18. If I run 275/45/20 on all four corners, the effect is very minimal. If I do staggered with 285/40/20 on the back, I think the front set is minimally slow while the back side is minimally fast.. Wonder what that does to the 4x4 gearing... anything? Just don't want to screw the Jeep up..... suggestions? I don't care so much about rotating the tires as it is a summer set up, not the same as if I ran them all year...

no adverse effects I gather from your comment... but do you or others tow with the staggered setup? I would go with the stock SRT set up if I knew it wouldn't affect a non SRT. I have an e-mail into factory reproductions in CA.... for rims and tires..

okay.. here is the deal....almost pulled the trigger on the chrome reps and the more I thought about it, here in the AZ rain......The more I thought I wanted the staggered look. BUT, literally, I woke up last night wondering about towing... (yes, Scott...again)... but I know my Laredo sags about 3-4 inches when the trailer is attached. (rides level, but the rear suspension compresses). So.. will 285/40/20's mounted on the 20x10's rub on the rear fenders if the suspension compresses when I attach the loaded motorcycle trailer?

you can compare the overall dimensions from stock to the staggard setup in back on a tire calculator. Then hook up your trailer and measure the room.
