My best time

Hey guys,
I wanted to share this with you all. I live in the Boston area and tonight is the first night of cool weather we have had in about three weeks. The air temp is 68 and the air is pretty dry. I picked up my SRT about three weeks back and with the break in period as well as the hot weather (90+ and humidity in the oppressive range) I have not had a chance to really see what the srt could do.

So I went out tonight (with a full tank of gas) and pull my best time yet. I am extremely impressed with the time. The air temp was 68, intake temp was 81 and trans temp was 141. On my first and only pull I ended up with a 4.2 0-60.

With that time, I was good with only one run.

Best,
Zach

I'd say a 20% decline.

Good times guys! Humidity and heat levels have been too high here on Long Island. I usually pull about a 4.3 or 4.4 but lately its been higher in the 4.7 to 4.8 range. Pulled a 5.2 on an uphill incline a couple of days ago - It was about 88 degrees with high humidity; that along with the uphill incline I would say is still pretty good for these rigs.... I do feel though that sometimes my 8 speed transmission seems a little laggy while other times it shifts fast and you can feel it slinging you foward. I just reset it the other night and now it feels a little jerky, maybe it's just trying to relearn.

too much humidity here in KY......and my truck only has 800 miles! Ill wait till fall to get some times. BUT....I know what these beasts are capable of and I AM ECSTATIC!

If I can get 4.1 @ 930 miles, and these beasts get better with time, I can't wait.
