Painted mirror caps

I have been searching online at some jeep and Mopar sites for a set of silver mirror caps for a 2012 Overland . Anybody have the part # for those.

Thanks
Eric

I'll will check with them, you would think they would offer them since they come from the factory with painted covers.

Yeah I'd check with J4J but also don't think you can buy them outright. The better option may be to get the chrome mirror caps and have someone like Scott paint them your color. He does amazing work and I wouldn't hesitate going back to him in an instant.

Who is Scott (that can paint them)? I've been wanting to get my summit mirrors painted brilliant black but wasnt sure of a reliable shop.

Looks nice! Did you take them off and get them painted, or did the shop just mask and paint? I'm ready to get mine done. I'd also like to do the handles but that might be pretty pricey

I took them off and gave them to the painter. It was easier that way for the both of us. The handles would be pricey and a pain to get done. I would look into vinyl wrapping for the handles or finding someone with a laredo who wants to trade.

Did you follow the removal instructions that the dealer has? Have any tips on getting the glass off without breaking it. I want to get mine painted too. Thanks!

Yea the instructions from mopar. I found them on this site somewhere. The glass comes off pretty easily and seems durable so I wouldn't worry about breaking it. Just follow the instructions and it can't go wrong.
