Smoking Cigarettes in 2014 Grand Cherokee

Probably a VERY stupid question to ask -- but unfortunately I smoke in the car.

I like to hold the cigarette out the window (almost entirely) and blow the smoke out the window fully -- but in this car (2014 GC), probably because of the aerodynamics the smoke CONSTANTLY blows back in the window -- all over my face and clothes. Anyone else smoke in their car and find this annoying? I can not blow the smoke simply out the window!

By the way, what is "WK2" stand for -- I don't get it! (sorry!)

The designers are trying to tell you something. I quit smoking around the time they did away with vent windows. :)

Did you try also rolling down the rear drivers side window a bit?

Im going to try that -- I do think the designers are trying to tell me something (dont smoke in the car)

Are there any add on type of things, that you would know of that will shift the wind so I can smoke without it blowing back in my face?

Get the window visors, they create negative pressure as you are driving which pulls air out of the cabin. Also, i always turn my air on to blow out towards my feet, then leave the window cracked about an inch. This creates positive pressure in the cabin, so air will be pushed out of your cracked window.

I quit last year (yay me!) but, i would rarely smoke in the 2011 we had... roll the window down about 2 inches, and put your hand right by the bottom front so the cigarette is close to the front by the mirror) The smoke will suck out while you are moving. (When you stop... you gotta roll it down more lol)

something odd about the way the air moves around this vehicle compared to others i have owned :)

The only answer here is to not smoke in the car, all it does it ruin the interior. You can have the window open but that nasty smoke smell still gets in everything and just makes a mess of the inside of a car.

If all else fails, try putting the fan on high and aim the vents towards the window. Maybe even close the passenger side vents ... if you are alone. ;)

This plus a set of weathertech or similar vent visors, having the drivers side dash vent closed, the rest open with the fan on a higher setting to create a positive pressure in the cabin.

Worked for me when I used to smoke in the car. Quitting smoking in the car turned out to be pretty easy for me. Quitting all together ... still working on that...

good luck.

Get one of those E cigarettes for smoking in the car no smell keep the windows rolled up even. I bought one of those masterVape e cigs works great IMO. Not the disposable one but the stater kit
