Out with Hybrid, In with Superlift.

A little update, I've been installing the Superlift myself but due missing parts (SL bracket and strut forks) i have been taking my time with the install.
So far as of thursday, i have the rear is done(accept a bracket that i'm waiting on from SL) Pretty simple install accept for some stubborn bolts!
I had to lower the gas tank to get to just one stupid bolt (driver lower control arm) and i was not expecting that! i had a little under 3/4 tank of full.. not fun at all! i should of read the directions i guess, maybe i could of driven it for a wile to burn some fuel.
Here are a few pictures, i will start on the front once the forks come in from Scott.

I do need to paint the bottom to keep this nasty salt from rusting this thing, I painted the white shocks with a rust prof paint.
I'll take better picture when i have time.

Sweet, cant wait till its all done. Wish i was lifting mine. UGH.

What diff cover is that? Is it custom?

I have been looking for a rear diff cover for mine and all i can find is a SOLID diff cover on ebay labeled for a 2005 + WK D35 rear end that does not exist and the WK 8.25 is not the same as an XJ 8.25. I wish it was though. lol

One day i will do an SRT8 D44a rear end swap when i am loaded and money is no object.

Such a good deal

The rear diff was made by GetLost4x4, it holds almost an extra half quart of oil and it's 5/16'' thick.

Jeep is in a second shop because the first shop called me up the following day telling me to pick up the Jeep because they didn't want anything to do with the lift kit (in other words they didn't know how to cut and weld the cross member plate!)
I've been eye balling a SRT rear end for a few weeks now form the same people but i can't find a rear locker to work in there and i think it's a 29 spline! no different than the chry 8.25.

dude - while its in the shop have them modify the exhaust too. the front drive shaft hits the exhaust after the install and needs some slight modification.

I don't know too much besides that as AEV did mine

That's an easy fix, i can do that here even tho it's in the instructions so i am guessing they should take care of that.
