2014 Grand Cherokee Limited Audio question
I am about to purchase a 2014 Grand Cherokee Limited but I am trying to decide on what audio package to go with. I really like the 8.4" touchscreen option that includes Bluetooth and Nav but I want to be able to hook up a JL Audio amp for my 12" sub(s) and perhaps another for the highs and mids. Is this even possible or do I have to install an after-market head unit if I want to add an amp?
I have a 6 month old Kenwood DNX6990HD double din touch screen head unit that I pulled out of my old car that has all the same features along with good pre-amp outputs. However, I like how the factory installed 8.4" display looks and I know some of the vehicle's features are linked to the display.
I just don't know if I should pay the $795 for the 8.4" display or put in my Kenwood receiver. Any suggestions?
