Sprint Booster

I wanted better performance form my 2012 GC 5.7, but didn't want any warranty issues from a tuner. I bought and installed a sprint booster and the difference is dramatic. Now when you touch the gas pedal instead of lagging it jumps. The throttle response improved at all RPMs and it seems much more powerful from a stop or anytime you floor the pedal. Anyone else tried one?

better response
more power
no warranty hassles

100% happy

Re: Sprint Booster

Sprint boosters don't actually provide more power, they just increase the signal from the throttle to the ECU, making the pedal more sensitive. You can get the same affect by mashing the gas harder if one isn't installed.

Now with that said, I've been tempted to buy one myself just because I find the throttle laggy like you said above.

Even if you mash the pedal hard it is not even close to the response the sprint booster allows. Something else I like about it is that you can adjust the response to throttle input buy simply pushing a button. Sprint boosters do not add any peak power, they do provide more power as having the throttle body open more/faster enhances the powerband.

Regardless if you are considering getting one I would recommend one. They wont give you the power of say a hemi fever tune, but they won't void your engine warranty either,as once you unplug it they are undetectable by service scanning devises.

Installed it yesterday and was pleased. Forgot I had it today, and boy did it hop when I started to back out of the driveway.

Well spent money says I

It does not add any power, it just fools the computer into thinking the throttle is pressed quicker and more that it actually is.

Sounds nice - what sort of price did you pay for it?

Which part # did you get? I only see 1 on their website for GC's and it says 2005-2006.5 which is odd.
