White Splotches on my Black Leather
Has anyone else notice any splotches on their leather. I have a 13 Overland. Lately starting to notice in different areas little white splotches. Almost looks like a salt ring when you sweat a lot. Wanting to see if someone else sees this or is it just me.

The leather is covered in plastic. Insect repellent with Deet can be hell on plastic??

That is odd, have you tried anything on it yet?

Could just be sweat

Don't think it is sweat. The 2nd picture is on the outside upper right of the passenger front seat. So, you won't touch there most of the time.
The first pic is the back seat. There was no one back there before this one showed up.
Have not been using any deet or insect repellent. The over all appearance of the leather is just not there. I tried leather conditioner, and other stuff on it. It just kinds of streaks.

What are you guys using on your to clean it?

I've experienced the same thing in my Overland. Mostly on the arm rests and seat bolsters. It's almost like the leather was treated with something that reacts to body oils. I just keep wiping the interior when I wash the truck, and all is well.

I just noticed some whitish, kind of powdery, blotches on my armrest. Wiped it off with my hand. Probably not the OP's problem, but did noticed my interior wipes clean with a slightly damp microfiber cloth.
