Driveline Vibration Front End

I have a v6 Limited and noticed that sometimes going uphill (under load) at higher speeds that you can feel the drivetrain have a constant vibration under the floor board of the driver side. The vibration immediately stops when you let off the gas.

Does this seem normal? Could it be related to the 4wd system?

I have the same issue. Its very faint. Do you also hear a slight drone noise? Anyway, I took it to the dealer and of course, its normal.

Yes, slight drone noise too. Currently in the waiting room at the dealer. Slight drone noise, but it is more the vibration that is annoying. We had a 2011 Gc Laredo x and do not recall having that. Think I will be here all day with the list I gave them.

What model do you have?

I agree. Did you happen to notice the rpm range you were in? I notice it around 2-3k range up hill at around 60 or so mph.

2013 E-Group Laredo with a V-6

1100 miles on her

I would say 2k rpm range and going uphill. I notice it more around 75 or so. It's my wife's primary car, so I actually just started noticing on the ride to the dealer. Almost feels like the 4wd is engaging, like on my old wrangler when it would be in part time 4wd.

Luckily mine isn't that bad. Wifey doesn't notice it in the passenger seat, its only me when driving. Of course I am retentive about these sort of things, so I noticed it right away.

Good luck and let us know what they say (if anything)

They just told me he replicated and it's a common complaint. He said it is the torque converter locking up. Does this make any sense? I don't have a ton of technical knowledge.

On a side note.
I did call bs when he told me my uconnect 13.10 software was the latest.

Also, they did do a flash update for the PCM. He said it may help with shifting.

Have you brought it in for service? If so, what did they say?

Quick question do you guys having the vibration drone thing also have the V6? because I live in San Francisco and go up steep hills every day at all speeds haven't felt a vibration yet.
