I saw a thread while back for V8 but didn't see any one where V6 is broken out into it's own thread.

Thought I'd post screenshot of my MPG calc on my V6. 70% highway driving (best guess), the rest county roads & side streets, not much stop-and-go traffic - summer no traffic around here. ECO mode on most of time, AC was on most of this measurement period if that matters. Mileage was 1-3k on the ODO.

EVIC is showing 1-2 MPG better (23.x) than my actual calcs (21-22), 450-500 mile range. Maybe with more break in will get up to the EVIC 23 figure eventually.

Your actual mileage may be better than that on highway trips, even at higher speeds. My wife's (new in late June) V-6 Limited did ~25 MPG actual MPG on a trip from NY to VA and back. The V-6 with the 8-speed is an impressive combination.

I have a heavy foot, and mine only has 1000 miles on it but I am getting 19mpg on 50/50 driving. I was hoping for 20 so I am optimistic about it. I know if it was a V8 I would be 14mpg.

Yeah can see that 25 is possible for all highway driving.

I average 18mpg on my '14 Overland V6 with 95% city driving.

I average 22mpg on my '14 Limited. 60/40 split city/highway. Engine is broken it just went past 5,000 miles this weekend.

It has only been 1000 miles and I average 21 mpg. Just for comparison my 05 Hemi was averaging 13 mpg under same conditions so I am very happy with the 2014 V6.

I must be doing it wrong. I average about 16.8 with probably 90% city driving. Just reset it on a 200 mile trip and got just under 22 with it on cruise most of the time, but this includes city driving in San Luis obispo. I've been thinking the overland is too heavy to get good mpg with the v6. I'd probably do better with the hemi.

Your actual mileage may be lower than that indicated by your VIC. Don't recall if Motor Trend, Car & Driver, or Road & Track, but they recently took a few auto makers to task where their externally measured mileage tended to be less in every instance than that reported by the in-vehicle info.

One vehicle mfgr mumbled and hem hawed that it isn't really possible to measure mileage because fuel composition varies, density varies, air pressure varies, marketing requires them to lie, etc.

my calc shows EVIC is over estimating 1-2 mpg so far.
