How to remove electrical connector under driver's seat.

Can anyone advise how to disconnect the electrical connector for a driver's powered seat in a MY12?
The problem I have is I need to do some work in the battery compartment, and the drivers seat will not move forward enough to get the access I really need in the battery area. I can only move it forward to expose 2/3 of the battery.
Therefore, I thought it would be easier to work if the drivers seat was removed completely. Problem is the electrical connector. There is a red lug in the middle of the plug which I am able to release a few mm's, but the plugs will not disengage.
Are there other lugs which require release?

Bump. Has no one ever disconnected the plug?

There may be a clamp-like tab at the wiring end of the connector, grab the end of the connector (at top and bottom) with thumb and forefinger and squeeze and pull towards you.

Thanks Milous. Looks like no one has ventured into this plug. I will give it a try.
