WK Interior Dash Kits

OK so I want to dress the interior up a bit. I want to do a nice dash kit...here are two issues I am thinking I may have:

1. It will look cheap - I know our interiors are not the most "lavish", but I do not want to make it any worse

2. It will not match - I have the light burlwood and IDK how close these kits will come to matching stock.

Here is a pic of my interior, and a link to an eBay kit I found and a "example" pic of a kit installed. Please post pics if you have a dash kit installed, where you got it, how difficult it was to intall, and lastly how it looks...

I am not going to paint my current pieces, so I am looking for a kit to go over the current set-up.

IMO too much wood. I like the brushed metal look but I have the same interion and I'm not sure how the brushed metal will go with my color interior.

I tried one of those on my wifes 04 Grand Prix GTP....it sucked. The edges peel up and its almost impossible to get it on there straight. But its your choice. I suggest painting them. It would be soooo cool painted. I wish I had the 08-10 dash so I could paint the pieces.

I wouldn't put all of those pieces on Nate...I just think there needs to be more wood. Thats what she said

LMAO Yeah I agree. A few trim pieces here and there would look nice...

ehh, I would stay away from the peel and stick trim pieces... I've always feared they would look cheap as hell and not last too long.

I had a peel/stick kit on my 2001 Intrepid R/T - I got a wood/leather wheel from a 300M and the wood kit accented it quite nicely. I didn't use all of the pieces that came with the kit though. I just looked through my photobucket and I don't have any pics of it that are good enough to post. I never had any issues with it peeling up - I think it was a pretty high quality kit. I prepped all of the surfaces really thoroughly though and took my time installing it.

Personally, I love the 08+ Limited/Overland interiors how they come. I wish I could find someone who wanted to trade/sell their 06-07 Overland interior trim pieces so I could get the matching wood/leather steering wheel. I love wood/leather wheels.
