How-To: WJ Fogs with high beams

Okay here is a quick ďHow ToĒ for bypassing the High beam cutout for a WJ jeep.

There are a few different ways that you can do it, this is just my way of doing it.

Items needed: 3x wire taps
1 relay
Control Switch
16g Wire
7mm socket (to remove headlamp if you use that trigger wire)
1 Fuse going to relay from battery

First thing you need is a signal from the high beams. You can get this 2 places: Either the Pink/Lt Green 18g wire behind the fuse box, or the white wire on the high beam itself. Just tap into this wire and run it to a switch of your choice.

From there you run an output switch from the switch to pin 86 on the relay. I mounted my relay here.

Now go from Pin 87 on the relay to the positive side of both fog lights. Unfortunately I canít tell you what wire it is since I canít get my ARB bumper off by myself. If someone takes a picture of the wires connecting to the fog lights Iíll add it here.

This is a basic diagram of what we just did.

They will go off when you turn the Jeep off. Soince they use the source from the high bean to trigger them on. The switch is there so you can have them off when the high's are on too.
